Only teens get spots – nope, adults get breakouts too! You’re not alone. It’s actually incredibly common – because we all deal with hormonal shifts, unbalanced diet, stress and more. It’s just more likely in your teen years.
‘Natural’ spot remedies are always safer – just because it’s natural or found in your kitchen cupboard, doesn’t mean it’s safe to put on your delicate skin, or on a spot (if you’ve popped it, it’s basically an open wound). Lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, baking soda, homemade sugar scrubs, we’ve heard it all. Don’t do it! It’s a shortcut to pH imbalances, irritations, and probably more breakouts. Our advice? Stick to simple skincare that’s formulated for you (aka, our products…), or products that have been formulated specifically for spots and breakouts.
