How did you get into hockey?

"I got into hockey because of my dad, he played regularly when I was younger, and I used to go along and watch. While he was out on the pitch, I’d be on the sidelines, hitting a ball around and copying what I saw. Being around the game from such a young age made it feel natural to make hockey a large part of my life. It is something we share as a family, which makes it even more special."

What do you love about your sport?

"There are so many things I love about hockey. Firstly, it’s just a really fun and fast-paced game and that constant action keeps me engaged. I also love how competitive it is, every match pushes you to improve and test your skills. But beyond the game itself, it’s the people that really make it special. You meet teammates who become close friends and opponents who challenge you and help you grow. The sport has opened up so many opportunities for me, from travel to teamwork to personal development, and I feel like there’s always more to learn and achieve."

What is your proudest sporting achievement(s) to date?

"It has to be captaining the England U16 team against Austria during the Home Six Nations tournament in April 2025. Wearing the captain’s armband and leading the team out onto the pitch was an incredible honour and something I’ll never forget. We went on to win the Bronze medal, which made the experience even more special."

Any future goals and aspirations?

"My ultimate goal is to play for the Great Britain Senior Team. It’s something I’ve dreamed about for a long time, and every step I take in my hockey journey is aimed at getting closer to that goal. I know it will take a lot of hard work, dedication, and continuous improvement, but I’m ready for the challenge. Representing GB at the highest level - whether it's in the Olympics or other major international tournaments - would be an incredible honour. Beyond that, I also want to keep growing as a player and as a person, taking every opportunity to learn, develop, and contribute to the teams I'm part of both on and off the pitch."
