How did you get into swimming?

"I started at the age of 4, taking swimming lessons at the local pool, and it went from there!"

What do you love about your sport?

"What I love most is pushing my limits and discovering what I’m capable of. It’s an individual sport, so your progress depends on your own effort and mindset, which I find really motivating. I also value the routine and discipline of daily training, goal setting, and constant improvement, along with the supportive team environment. Racing is my favourite part, I enjoy the adrenaline, the focus, and seeing my hard work pay off."

What is your proudest sporting achievement(s) to date?

"One of my proudest moments has been winning my first major international medals in the 800m and 1500m freestyle. Representing Great Britain and standing on the podium was incredibly special, particularly in races where it all comes down to your own performance. I’m also proud of milestones like personal bests, records, and consistent improvement, moments that reflect the hard work behind the scenes. Seeing early mornings and tough training pay off has built my confidence and motivated me to keep pushing further."

Any future goals and aspirations?

"I want to keep improving my times and developing. Representing Great Britain at the World Championships has motivated me to compete consistently at that level. I’m focused on the British Championships and Commonwealth Games trials, aiming to perform at my best and gain more international experience. Long term, I want to build on this, succeed at future World Championships, and ultimately compete at the Olympic Games. Along the way, I aim to achieve personal milestones like new bests and records, while staying consistent, continuing to learn, and enjoying the journey."
