Skincare = basic skin hygiene.

Just like shampoo, toothpaste or deodorant, taking care of your skin all contributes to keeping yourself clean, hygienic and your skin healthy.

A simple skincare routine might be part of what helps to maintain balance in your skin, but there are other elements to manage too. They might seem obvious, but these tips will help you stay on track.

They’re just as important as any skincare:
⭐ Cleanse every day, especially at the end of the day and after exercise
⭐ Don’t skip the neck or behind the ears when washing
⭐ Wash your hair regularly
⭐ Change your bedsheets and wash bedding regularly
⭐ Clean your makeup brushes after every other use
⭐ Don’t reuse or share flannels – make sure it’s fresh and clean with every cleanse
⭐ Use lukewarm water to avoid stripping the good oil from your skin
If you cleanse in the shower, do it as a last step so you can remove all of the residues of any shampoo, soap and conditioner
